August Lawn Party

Please join us for our August Lawn Party on August 6th and 7th. There will be great food and music each night along with games for the kids as well as the adults.  Food is ready around 5:00 PM, we hope to see you there. Below are pictures of the building that is being raffled off,  the building is 10' x 16' tickets are $2.00 dollars each.  Call 879-9930 for tickets.

Clover Hill Receives Training Grant!

Clover Hill Fire & Rescue recently received a 100% grant for an adult Resusci Anne (to be used for CPR training)  from the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation sponsored by local dealer Highway Motors.  Kenny Martin, President of Clover Hill Fire & Rescue 2nd from left is shown accepting the Resusci Anne from representatives of Highway Motors and the Dealers Foundation.

Clover Hill Fire & Rescue Receives Federal Tanker Grant!

Clover Hill Fire and Rescue has been awarded a grant for the purchase of a new Tanker 176, this tanker will carry 3000 gallons of water and be on a International 7600 chassis and a Pierce Body.  Estimated arrival of the new Tanker is Fall of 2010.

Clover Hill Fire and Rescue recently placed an order with Pierce for a PUC Rescue Engine.  Estimated time of delivery is Fall, 2010.
The following is a list of some of the components on the new Rescue Engine
Pierce PUC on an Arrow XT chassis
Cummins 500 HP Diesel Motor
Allison IV 4000 EVS 6 speed automatic transmission
750 gallon water tank
30 gallon class A foam tank
1500 GPM water pump
CAFS (Compressed air foam system)
Lister Petter 21 KW diesel generator
6000 watt Wilburt light tower
Six position FireCom system with two wireless headsets.
Champion Rescue tools with two mounted hydraulic reels
Paratech air bag set with a mounted air hose reel
Two mounted electric cord reels
On board Police style video camera system
