[[https://legacylis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/legp604.exe?231+sum+HB2451&231+sum+HB2451|House Bill 2451]] directed the department of Fire Programs to create an E.V. training program that would be available by July 1, 2024, and must be completed by December 1, 2025. This has been codified in Code of Virginia [[https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title27/chapter2/section27-23.11/|§ 27-23.11. Firefighter electric vehicles fire training]].
